Pianos are not just a hobby for me - they are my passion. As the head piano technician of Eastern Washington University, I am exposed to a large variety of the worlds most trusted piano brands; including Steinway, Yamaha, Baldwin, Kawai, etc. These pianos are put through a grueling, daily schedule of practice and performance which are expected to be maintained to the highest standard. The Steinway recital pianos alone receive piano tuning and repair once a week!
As a published and accomplished composer and pianist, I know how important it is to play on an instrument that responds and sounds how you expect it to.

My flat rate fee doesn't just include a tuning. It also includes a half hour's worth of FREE service, which will often cost you much more through other piano service companies. This service may consist of any of the following: minor pitch raises, small piano repairs, buzzing, sticky keys, hammer alignment, bench repair, cleaning, vacuum, lubricating, pedal adjustment and/or voicing. Any job that requires considerably more time or cost will be addressed to the client and I will not proceed unless I have your permission.
Need an appraisal? I've worked as a sales consultant and piano technician expert in multiple high-end dealerships around the country; including Steinway, Bösendorfer, Yamaha, Kawai, etc. I know the true value of just about every piano on the market; oldies but goodies included!
Need a piano? I will find you the best quality for the price, regardless of your budget. Yes, even that budget! I have helped countless clients find the right piano for their needs. Whether that be from local private party sales or introducing you to a dealership and making sure you are treated well and taken care of.
